The Lofotr Viking Museum offers exciting experiences for all the senses. Explore our modern exhibition, which takes you on a journey through time. Visit the reconstructed chieftain’s house and meet craftspeople and guides. The museum shop is brimming with souvenirs and gift ideas, and the café serves delicious food and drink.
During the summer months, you can also buy lamb soup and mead in the chieftain’s house. At the Viking ship harbour, you can take part in activities, board the Viking ship (separate ticket required) and take a break at the Skjelterskjåen café. It takes about 25–30 minutes to walk each way between the museum and the harbour area. P.S. It’s an uphill walk back.
